  004.   I do not mind combat-oriented interactions; however, whether you utilize a D20 system or otherwise is something I'd prefer to discuss beforehand, if you choose to pursue that.  005.   I match lengths when it comes to interactions. I lean toward para / multi-para in game; but I'm open to novella & beyond in discord, should we make it that far. Oneliners are fine -- not my method of choice; but I'm willing to wiggle.  006.   Do not metagame. Please. I'll afford you the same respect. I am sometimes open to prior knowledge of one another, so long as it makes sense. I favour the idea of learning of your character through interaction & vice-versa : but I understand this isn't always feasible.

  007.   I can be eccentric (i.e, chatty. ) when it comes to things I'm invested in. An interaction? A plot point? Just how cool you are, as an individual? It'll never coast along the lines of ' overbearing, ' but if smalltalk is something that bothers you, there's no harm in telling me. I'll adjust.  008.   I love hearing about the creativity of others. Have something you're really proud of with your character, but too shy or uncertain to share, yet? THOSE BLOODSOAKED WINGS SERVE YOU LITTLE. Cold. A chill as haunting as night - his eyes bear tales that would break the common man. There is no warmth behind his gaze . . . no longing beneath his touch. Quiet, as his name insists, is the bitter blend of trauma & refusal to be harmed again. Jagged. Hollow. He was raised in Ilsabard. He was conceived elsewhere. He speaks precious little of his origins - of his home. Of his upbringing, the same.The myriad of scars that adorn his torso tell many stories ; primarily centered upon the lower back, left clavicle, and the nape of his neck. Some thick, bold; lifethreatening. Others scarce - webbed, faint enough to be missed 'neath pale moonlight. The location of each is committed to memory. They are sensitive to touch - some more than others. Sharp, physical reactions, oft reflex oriented, are proffered in response to any wandering hands. Don't.Insomnia. His cumbersome debilitation. When what precious little sleep he's afforded is denied him; he can be found honing his combat skills. Quiet is a seasoned swordsman; extensively trained in the use of the eastern katana, & to a lesser extent, common curved blades. When training is not an option; he can be found wherever the moon shines brightest. Watching. Observing. Longing, somewhere deep down inside. For what? . . . Whatever it may be, it's shackled.

Preventative, rather than tending to illness once it occurs. This, by extension, has dowsed him in knowledge of kampo medicine. He often utilizes his knowledge & prowess in these methods of treatment to not only bolster himself ; but those, few may they be, that he cares about on a personal level.

There are precious few that Quiet could call an aquiantance. Fewer still, those who have ribboned his heart. Friends. Family. Scarce. " I don't mind. " The isolation? He drawls. He lies. He shouldn't - he'd be safer that way. But he does. He has no anchor. Of his own design; truly. A man who calls self - sacrifice home. There are ways, however; cracks - no matter how miniscule. A gaze lingering too long. The soft grumble of an unfed stomach. The anxious furling & unfurling of bandage-wrapped digits. Perhaps a twitch of the ear alongside a conversation that doesn't concern him.Quiet could never leave ' well ' well enough.To those who do manage to sever the masque. You would find no finer companion. Loyal - to a fault. Ever-present, albeit wordless, often. A silent, shadowy routine. A gift for those who lack the appetite for insignificant exchange . . . akin to himself. Intoxicants loosen his tongue, sometimes. He avoids them for this reason. Information is valuable - information is dangerous. Information is significantly easier to wrestle out of a wet maw.

In need of a strong sword arm? Whether it be for protection or culling beasts; he's prepared for the job. Perhaps you've heard whispers of his tireless work ethic . . . how he strikes true when it needs be done. Those without an appetite for combat will have little to fret over when accompanied by him. He will not kill for sport. This side of him is also ushered out to the few he is close to free of charge. He calls it ' keeping the rust away, ' the reality of it? He couldn't live with seeing something happen to them.

Quiet is . . . quiet. He lives in it. Has fondness for it. But there are times when even he gets that subtle nagging for something more. Something tangible. Something warm - - warm enough to comfort his scarred hands. You have history. Mayhap you stumble across him in a moment of clarity beyond the hustle & bustle. A familiar gaze. Brief. Shadowed. He looks away. Not because he doesn't welcome your presence; but nor does he demand it. Inconveniences are inconvenient. He doesn't want to be one.A quick word might salve that worry.
